My 03 Monte Carlo 3.8 liter SS CV axle is bottoming out on the passenger side. I'm not sure if there's some sort of bracket or Mount that's supposed to be in there to hold it up I bought the car for my nephew used
The CV axle cracked extension housing and the oil filter mount. I went to the junkyard pulled in extension housing it had a bracket on it I took it. Was not aware of my oil filter Mount crack at the time. Went back to the junkyard to acquire the oil filter mount. And it was on a different location on that engine so I guess I pulled the bracket and extension housing off of smaller engine Monte Carlo. Some reason I didn't have a bracket on mine and my tranny is hanging low on the passenger side an extension housing is making my CV axle bottom out on my frame. What can I acquire or how can I lift this tranny up to the proper position I've had no luck anywhere else hoping this website will help me
