if you let it go too long it will start to vibrate if its the one closer to the case. if its the outter one..... go to a parking lot and lock the wheel over fully to the right and drive in a circle, listen for a clacking sound. do the same with the wheel locked to left too.
if you get a clacking sound, your CV joint is bad too and the entire axle assy must be changed.
