good job.....gladyou found it was as simple as the pcv system.

Good to hear you found the problem, but the o-ring is supposed to be on the pcv valve prior to installing it - just like the shop did it (see pic). With it sitting on top of the valve there is a chance it will become dislodged and your vacuum leak may return.

Thank you for this info and diagram. It's the end of December and I haven't had any problems, but I think I will go buy a new seal and put it in the correct position. Thanks again!
