Default 01 ss fuel injection

Hey everyone this is my first post but as you can see I have an 01 ss and I’m looking to get the Stattama T67 turbo kit by zzp with 2.5 inch exit downpipes, I was wondering if anyone else had this kit and what fuel injectors I should consider and other possible upgrades you’d recommend too. This was my late uncles car and I’m trying my best to add performance mods without major error. (This is also my first build so bare with me)

Curious, why a 2.5"? The Stat turbo kit is a higher end turbo kit, so it seems odd to go higher there but then lower end on the exhaust side. Maybe you're planning to run a cutout dump?

what fuel injectors I should consider
What fuel and what power level? Pump gas with the turbo only, the typical 60/65s would be fine. If you're doing other mods and shooting for more power then I'd probably go 80s to give some headroom - but depends on the power goal and if / how much meth you're hitting it with.

On E, you'll need a lot more injector - especially if you plan to do other power mods.

You'll also need a pump to match.

other possible upgrades you’d recommend too.
What is the plan with the transmission? That kit is capable of serious horsepower, so you're going to need a serious transmission to go with it.

If you haven't thought about transmissions at all yet, I'd do a deep dive there before you spend a penny on engine mods. For years the big turbo 3800 setups ran 4t65s built with the GM Racing parts. But as those have been discontinued for more than a decade and the handful of used ones left out there command crazy prices (and aren't always up for sale), you'll want to make sure you can get your hands on a transmission capable of handling this much power before you start buying engine mods.

You'd just hate to get to a spot where you've got a 500+ whp engine and can't find the parts needed to keep a transmission behind it. The most reputable 4t65 buidler these days only offers a transmission up to 350 wheel / only on street tires with currently available parts. I assume since you picked this specific turbo kit that you're hoping for at least 100+ more than that so thats why I think its important to nail this down 100% before moving forward.

What is the end goal and what is the budget? Thats a pretty hardcore turbo setup, so Id complement it with some other mods while you've got things apart. At a minimum I'd stick a cam in it.

Depending on if E is available locally, if not you may want to consider a meth kit. Added octane + chemical intercooling is a double benefit thatll let you up the boost and make more power. But it depends what your goals are, this is easy to add down the road when you get bored with a given power level.
