The bonus is from LifeLock. They finish 1 & 2 in the Lifelock 400 @ Michigan, which makes them eligible for a million dollar bonus to finish 1 & 2 in the Lifelock.com 400 @ Chicagoland. This was a new one to me too. I've read very little here on jayski.

who needs a million bucks, cool for the older man and the kid!!! and where did JR finish?? 15th hmm, when will he get it together?? sucks, i'm losing faith in him!!

That was awesome! I really slayed with my picks - I called 1st & 2nd and my 3rd pick finished 7th. I still don't really understand this million dollar bonus. They said very little about it until the end.
I like the way the race unfolded. It was exciting to have Martin out front all race long, but it was still tense for me right up until the end with the restarts. Still a boring race, but the outcome was as good as it could be really. 2 idiots (Vickers & Hamlin) screwed up to open the door for Martin in the end.

Way to go Mark "The Kid" Martin - currently the winningnest driver of the 2009 season!!!!

I can't believe how close Menard was to having a good run. I always make fun of him. In the end he did not disappoint (with help from Jr.), but when it happened I was actually rooting for the plug... er ... guy.
