I don't really see the difference in the paint Duane, but it is brighter on the TV.

Junior's having a great run! I've been at odds with myself for not picking him. Obviously I still want him to win. Duane got under my skin 'bout pickin' with my heart! But the rare-for-me Kenseth pick is working out...

 

Wow, sorry about that offending you.... hahaha. Junior, you might win... two Ford's that are running well and you got Jimmie.... the rest of us have a dominant Chevrolet teams.... many with Gordon or Harvick, which aren't running well.. I think Junior Car is winning right now....

 

I think NASCAR just decided too many cars were a lap down and Kenseth's half-lap lead was too much.... where is the debris at?

 

Mystery caution comes out as Kyle Busch has a loose wheel.... funny......

 

...so much for Martin finishing every lap this year...

Yeah it did... he was the first car in the top 5 to pit and they said on TV it was due to a lose wheel...

Maybe it's strategy, maybe it's this E85 causing poor mileage and more stops... but it seems like all we do is talk about pit stops and cars are constantly going into the pits right now ti seems.... like every 30-40 laps the same cars are in the pits... even though Stewart went 58 laps and then blew that whole chance.......


Got to get my spread sheets ready in a few minutes.

 

That felt like a pretty good finish. And all my picks did finish ahead of Junior, which feels bad. Still a good day for him - he remains cemented in the Chase....

While it wasn't the most exciting race coming to the end... I'm glad there was no manipulative mystery caution. Kenseth had a great car, I made a great picks edit for once. Maybe I should have gone all Ford... but you guys know what I think of that bet... don't want all those eggs in one basket if you ask me. It was a bit like a classic NASCAR race in my opinion too.. long green runs, big margin of victory, and just a few cars on the lead lap. That's how they were back in the day..... seems like these night races at Texas have a tendency to either be long green runs or a short 10-15 lap run to the end.

Here are the results... Congrats to JuniorCar, the only guy with 2 Ford's on his team (got to rub that in), who won Texas by a whopping 12 points!!! Here are the race results....
