Picks for Texas!!!!
#12
Well practice speeds are in.... David Ragan was fastest, followed by Stewart... Biffle and Kenseth were there, so were Johnson and Bowyer, Junior 13th, Harvick 23rd... but practice usually isn't a good indicator... you don't know who was in race trim and who was in qualifying trim, you don't know how hard they ran. Plus, I think some guys run something they know is a little illegal in practice trying to secure contracts and the such by showing the people paying the bill how fast the car was in practice. Just some things to consider.... but I'm still looking forward to Texas!!!

Well, I think qualifying is important here, so I'm going to do something unpredictable (for me) and not pick Martin or Junior, inspite what I was saying earlier.
The last Texas race was pretty good, but its usually a boring race. A race in which the fastest win, simply put. It'll be a good day for Ford, but I'm not ready to invest in pole sitter David Ragan.
And did you see McDowell!! He most famous for his qualifying wreck here when he drove for Waltrip Racing. But he qualified 20th - ahead of Martin, Junior and Gordon!
1. Carl Edwards
2. Matt Kenseth
3. Jimmie Johnson (1 of 2 Chevs starting top ten)
last: Joe Nemechek (still unsponsored as of this post)
1st caution: David Starr (1st Spring Cup start)
# of cautions: 5

You ought to join our little game then!! We'd love to take on a new comer.... about to start a new segment here in a few weeks....
Carl Edwards won the nationwide race tonight... I should have stuck with my guy in Daytona, but took the Biffle instead.... now I'm taking Kenseth instead of Edwards... might bite me. I had a bad feeling about Edwards from the beginning. Guy was good in both nationwide races last year, won last fall, but it didn't translate to cup results. I've made my bed and I'm going to lay in it. Still waiting on a few picks.
