It has been a competitive year on the MCF and in the real life NASCAR!!! In 5 races here on the MCF, we have had 5 different winners... taht's more than the real life NASCAR!!! And there are like 8 of us who have chosen picks for every races!!!

I was wrong on my call about Hendrick... with one "real" race in the books, we are beginning to see that maybe that call at Hendrick was a good one and they are on the right track. Martin is having bad luck, as is Junior.. but all the Hendrick cars ran good!!!

JGR may not have been the way to go. Kyle Busch ran great, but Denny didn't do so hot and Joey had a problem early on. Roush had some bad luck... Edwards was their man for the week, but early cautions, pit stops, luck, and a bonehead took him out of the race early on, and ruined the points for about 3 of us who had chosen him for this week.

And it was cool to see Jeff Gordon win a race. I can't wait for Las Vegas. Yet, at the same time, I'm already bummed about that week off after Vegas!!!!

I love this new MCF Fantasy stuff. It really keeps me interested in the race, and I love making these calculations... hopefully I don't burn out!!!!

I was telling my dad about our system.. .and how I made the rules, I monitor them, I do the calculations... yet I'm 9th in points. My dad says I need to pull a "Brian France" and modify the rules....

Beware, my colleagues... beware...

 

I'm pretty sure I got 300 points in that race, but I'm pretty drunk. I'm also sick as a dog & on meds (I never mentioned this). This is probably why I'm not the score keeper

 

I would hardly say Martin is having bad luck. He's in Chase position in typical Martin fashion. He'll hang in there. It'll be a great year if that was a bad day for him. Hendricks have given him the worst they have to offer...

 

I moved up a little yeaaaaaaah me.

A scoring error was made!!!

77GP and zjerry had picked Jeff Gordon. I thought the 3 point bonus was held off until you made it to chase.. but you get a 3 point bonus for winning the race too... .and I had not given those points to Jeff Gordon, and hwen the unofficial results were posted, I noticed the error and corrected it. 77GP whipped us even worse than we thought... along with zjerry, who was second. The only change this made was moving zjerry to 7th in points, and Space back to 8th.
