oh jeez... i honestly didn't think I won this one and wasn't prepared! I knew I didn't have a bad week...

 

I did ok. Did move back up a spot in the standings. Slowly recovering from my disaster at Bristol.

 

Ouch i dropped out of the top ten. I got some work to do now.

 

The crash didnt hurt me as much as i thought it would. Slowly creeping up to the top.. Will there be a non point all star race on this forum? I think we should. You just hadto have won a race some year on this forum. All past champs. Pull from a fake hat. Thats who you get.

 

We generally all run the all-star race for no points... just picking for fun. Last year like 5 people participated.

Well then, i guess we will have like six people participating. I dont know how participation can be any less. Just pick somebody.

 

You guys have hit on an idea. I did not limit the All-Star race picking last year. Maybe I should only qualify people for the All-Star race who have either 1) won a segment last year, 2) won a race last year or this year up to this point, or 3) won the overall championship. Everyone else plays in the opener.

Last year it was open for nayone to pick. I think that would be hte best way, considering all the confusion with all-in and double down this year that we had. Everyone could pick last year. Just only 5 did. We had 10 participating every week. This year has been crazy for me to keep up with, it is taking me a long time to tally points nad I'm almost dreading wehn Talladega gets here and starts Segment 2 because I'll have that much more to keep on top of.... grrrr.

I think that would get too complicated... but it's a cool idea.

Well, my strategy of picking only A-holes didn't work to well this week. Still hovering close to the bottom, helped by my senior moment in picking for Vegas (my picks never showed up). Looking forward to the 2nd segment!
