I'm looking forward to the race.... still got a couple of ugys who need to get the picks in here... points leader Boca Reject hasn't posted that I've seen but I could be wrong.... hope he gets it in here, hate to see him lose the points lead because he didn't make a pick...

I'm not going to be watching a good part of the race... got a bed that's going on '73 F-100 I'm working on with somebody else that I'm going to be painting... going to Golden Corral for lunch, shoudl be up in the high 60's by this afternoon, calm winds... good painting weather.

I did a light sanding of the primer this morning, inside and out... the insulation sheets are lyaing in there becuase I'm going to lay on those, paint inside, then pick the 3 sheets up one by one and spray the floor of the bed as I take them up. Base coat/clear coat... Going to be fun! Look forward to your commentary... I'll be in between teh base and clear stages to watch a little racing while my base coat settles and dries good.

Here's the bed if anyone is interested...

On lap 56, under caution, McDowell makes a 4 tire stop - they're gonna race the thing!!!! He remains on the lead lap (29th)

On lap 104 Macos Ambrose disregards McDowell while racing for 28th, so McDowell dumps him good!

For sure! Good thing he is a big jacked-up bastard! (I mean that in a good way)

This red flag for the Truex-Kahne wreck helps Edwards I'm sure. That was a cool looking wreck. Martinsville doesn't produce spectacular wrecks like that often!

McDowell blows a tire on lap 298, finally going down a lap. He does not bring out the caution. What a champion!

That's because it's not mine.... kind of a little favor I'm helping someone with... getting paid a little bit for it.

Got the clear coat done!!! We put spatter paint down on the bed because rust had made it really pitted... this gives it texture and grip too.... got 'er done!

I think I'm going to be late on getting the points up... got to run up to VA to get a few parts... like the correct valve covers for my Torino and a couple of parts for a Fairlane project my dad has going. I'll let MRN tell me how it ends!
