Picks/Homestead/SunAfternoon
Just having some fun, picking some underdogs!
Bobby has been having some good top 20, even top 15 runs lately and he's decently good here.
Landon cassill wasnt to bad in practice, and Menard is always unpredictable!

That was great vid Duane, but I wanted to see a burnout. Which gives me some ideas for next year (not this year - with the BudChev locked up, I don't have a car that can do burnouts right now). I think you dodged my question Duane, which was very professional of you.
I think the rule regarding point deductions is good and fun. Not necessarily "fair", but realistic. I think the rule should further read that a race winner will not be striped of their win. Which isn't "fair" either, but that's the way Nascar does it. I often feel that you have to be stupid not to cheat in Nascar because the way Nascar enforces the rules. They never strip anyone of a win (tell that to Regan Smith). But the best part about this rule is that it takes the burden of judgement off Duane and puts it all in the incapable hands of Nascar. "Got a problem with it? Don't blame Duane..."
Even tho my points fell apart at the end, it was an awesome season in the MCF pool. Thanks a lot Duane. If we ever meet up I'll have to get you something to show my appreciation - oh, that already happened! But I feel I had a great season and knew it couldn't sour after I won the season opening Daytona 500!

I'm still rubbin' faces in that! I think most drivers would agree that if you win that one, you can lose the rest and call it a good year. I had some other great ones in there too - even a segment win. This was a fulfilling season. But I'm sure we'll have a "reflection" thread after today's race.
I'm gonna win one more with these pics:
1. Aric Almirola
2. Mark Martin
3. Brad Keselowski
I feel like there should be a Ford in there - I was gonna pick Bowyer to win, then I din't pick him at all. This is only the second race of the year that I didn't pick the 88 car. When Jr was out of the car I still picked Regan Smith. But back when we could pick one driver thrice, I picked Martin 3 times at the first Phoenix race. And I would have been better off picking Jr.

Looks like we have a few contenders startn at the rear!.. Iwas gonna pick the biff til the wreck in practice...
So I went with Happy Harvick...this is his track...with his average finish of 7th here at homestead....Consistantly!....
which is better than the biff, kenseth, stewart....
Im considering dropping the 48 all together...Since he runs poorly here consistantly...(hes never won @ homestead)
Since keselowski is now on the pole...and is going to win the championship....
Now all i need is a 3rd to count on for a good win or finish in the last segment...Hmmmm whos it gonna be?
MAYBE..I SHOULD PICK EDWARDS? (Duanes kryptonite)
