Just in case any clarification is needed, these are the drivers in the Sprint Cup AllStar Showdown:
Jamie McMurray, David Reutimann, Casey Mears, Mike Bliss, Joey Logano, A J Allmendinger, Josh Wise, David Stremme, Jeff Burton, Stephen Leicht, Tony Raines, David Gilliland, Juan Pablo Montoya, Aric Almirola, Bobby Labonte, J J Yeley, Martin Truex Jr, Landon Cassill, Joe Nemechek, Dale Earnhardt Jr, Travis Kvapil & Scott Speed
If Junior can't beat those guys to get in the All-Star race he probably shouldn't be in it. Truex, AJ, Logano and McMurray could be fast. But either way Junior will be in the AllStar race because none of those guys could beat him in a fan vote. The rest could combine their votes and they'd still be short. It would have been neat to see if Danica was elgible on the fan vote, but Junior would probably still edge her

I thought that Bobby Labonte would be in because he was the 1999 champion.... but NASCAR does indeed list him as being in the showdown. I will edit that list into the rundown, Brent.
There may be like a "championship within the last 10 years" rule to keep Richard Petty or David PEarson from deciding to drop into the car and going at it or something.

Almost everyone has chosen a set of Juniors for the showdown race.... Truex Jr and Earnhardt Jr... including myself. This is about the 2nd time I've ever chosen Earnhardt Jr in our 55 MCF races. (that including the exhibition race)
