Maybe we can afford to get our logo on that little pillar between the net and rear window.....

And if you're wondering where the title "Historian" came from, it was given to me by member Space after I talked alot about NASCAR cup series history from the 60's, 70's, and a little bit of the 80s. I do'nt claim to be an expert on the Hooters Pro Cup, Goody Dash Series (whatever it is known as now) local dirt tracks, development teams, or anything to that affect.

It's just hard to believe anyone on a race team would go hitting up car forums looking for sponsorship too. And as many scams float around here, you have to wonder if something like this is a new trick.

Sounds like that time Edwards had that ad in that stock car magazine?

AS far as hooters pro cup, my understanding of the whole situation was that it was basically the same thing as when Nextel took over NASCAR or Nationwide took over Busch. Just a name change.

And if Benny does go big, everyone gets to look back and laugh at me for jumping this thread.

Have you guys at least got some support from TRD? I see you guys got a car from Michael Waltrip, but are you able to get any support like Gibbs or MWR at all?

I would also like to think that with drivers like Edwards, Ky. Busch, and Keselowski scaling back their efforts this year since the points don't count, more opportunities for those people trying to get a start in the series will be there. That series wasn't meant to be a place where the guys who were already established could win 25 of the 34 races in a year. Hopefully it will give up and comers such as yourselves and some other teams I've seen out there that are trying to make runs some attention.

I know in those ranks like the Hooters Pro Cup just having a tire sponsor ship goes a LONG way.

I sent you a Facetube friend request there. Figured you'd at least like the see the face of the guy flaming you

And we have this issue on this site where links show up as a name. At the bottom of your first post, where you give the official site for the team, it just shows up like regular letters unless someone scrolls over it. You may want to go back nad edit and put bold letters in for link, write underneath it that it is a link, whatever.

And I will offer my apologies for some of the jumping over the edge with you. The part abotu your team requesting the 24, and then placing on your teams site how the 24 has been characterized with Jeff Gordon and a tradition of winning, taking the "famous 24" (not your 24, the famous one) for a spin... it just really looks like the team is piggy backing. That part I will stand behind. It's like having hte last name McGuire, Bonds or Ruth in baseball, or Manning in Football. While anyone who examines the situation knows the two are not connected, it looks like you are trying to imply that there is a connection.

No money here from em but I will keep and eye out while watching and wish you well. I know how hard it is to fund racing. While not big time racing at the local track, it was all I could do to maintain tires on a weekly basis, and I am only talking street tires. Good Luck.
