My '99 Monte Carlo tries to start but won't, it is getting plenty of gas and there is spark, if you constantly pump the accelerator at the throttle body it will run for about 2 min. but really rough almost acts like its not getting fuel but yet theres fuel coming out of the fuel filter, and as soon as you let off the accelerator cable it dies with a sound of gasping for air coming from the air filter! Any ideas would be appreciated!

 

check the MAF sensor, the IAT sensor, and the TPS
