Gut says you are in for some transmission work. My first recommendation, check and ensure the transfluid is at the right level. If it is, I would suggest finding a reputable transmission shop to address this further.

So I have already replaced the filter and fluid I forgot to mention I mean and I’ve rebuilt so far 2 RWD transmissions the fluid was dirty but not terrible and the filter wasn’t terrible either no metal flakes or anything just a little dark like a fresh grape rather then the strawberry goodness haha what parts would I be looking to replace like a rebuild kit or a solinoid kit?

Everything. Clutches, gaskets, electronic parts, drive chain, seals, etc etc. It's a ton of labor to pull the trans, open it up and rebuild it. Last thing you want to do is have to do it again in 6 months because you didn't replace one thing.

Id get a complete overhaul kit like this:

https://tripleedgeperformance.com/on...4-0fbe8317e0ba

You may find you need additional parts (hard part damage or out of spec, worn bearing, etc) - but thatll cover all of the basics. You won't know what else you may need until you get it apart and start inspecting.

Unless this is a nearly new trans, I wouldnt spend a lot of time trying to find the specific failed component (unfortunately its not a common 4t65 issue so we can't really pinpoint it without more diagnostic info). They aren't particularly robust / durable transmissions, so if you're cracking it open you may as well get everything back to 100% so you don't have to worry about it again.

Sadly, I don't know what needs replaced, I lack enough knowledge on the inner workings of the transmission. If you are comfortable ripping into it, I agree with Bumpin, given the history on these transmissions for problems, I would consider a full over haul, get everything addressed to have it tip top again.

TripleEdgePerformance is known to be masters with the 4t65e in these cars. They have a very good reputation with these transmissions. If you wanted to do a full swap, they would be a good company to consider working with.
