Wipers Dont Work!!!
Sup Guys,
This is my first post on this forum. My wife recently acquired a 95 monte carlo however there is a problem with the wipers.I tried doinga search but itdidnt yield any positive results. For some reason when i try to turn my wipers on they dont move at all, however i hear a single click coming from the frontwindshield every time i try toturn them on. Any oneever experience this problem? Any help wouldbe greatly appreciated.
Thanks

RE: Wipers Dont Work!!!
Hi Noel,
Sounds likeare having trouble with the control module for the windshield wiper motor, orbad wiper motor.
If you hear the clicking, it has power, but sounds like
it's just wore out [X(]
MCF Members, post your thoughts/recommendations for Noel.
Good Luck, `Space.

RE: Wipers Dont Work!!!
Welcome to MCF Noel. I would pop the hood and have your wife turn them on and see if you can see if the motor is moving anything at all or if the clicking is coming there. A wire might have become disconnected among other obvious things that you will see then.

RE: Wipers Dont Work!!!
Most likely it's the control module. They tend to rust prematurely on the inside.Odds are a vital connectionis broken. I have seenparts fall out of them when you take them apart to replace them. You can turn on the wipers and tap the module. It's the black plastic covered area by the wiper motor with all the wiresconnecting to it. About 50% of the time they will move or work for a second when tapped. Most of them are available through your local parts store or for a few more bucks you can get a genuine GM part. About $30 Hope this helps!
