Default Window Mystery? 01ss

O1 SS

Ok Right now my passenger window will not go down up or anything by either the drivers switch or the passenger switch. At night when you press the switches you can see it dim out the guage lights a little like its tryin to come down so i think the switches are ok. once out of about every 30 times in the car it will work fine but the weird thing is now my drivers side window is starting to do this off an on. So here are a couple questions. Is the drivers switch totally master over passenger switch? How do you reset this window breaker if its even possible? any ideas? sorry if this a repost I searched

I'd be willing to bet that the driver side (master) switch('s) is bad..

thats what i was thinking is that the motor is gone in the door

and if that is the problem they are available aftermarket so you dont have to pay a fortune @ the dealership

I was also thinking something with the motors, but I was thinking along the lines of maybe a bad ground. I had the same problem in my suburban and come to find out it was a bad ground. Haven't fixed it yet, but when it acts up, I pound on the door a couple of times.
