so i posted about my headlights not working. no lowbeams or drl's.
they still dont work.

this morning i go out to start the car and it wont engage the starter. it gives me power to all acc. and guage cluster.

i pop the hood go to the front with the key still in acc. and my drl's are on.

wtf they havent been on in weeks and now that the car wont start, they are on. hmmm

after a few looks and checks i decide lets pull the drl relay and see what that does.........boom, the car starts fine.

so it seems mabey there is a short in the drl system?

 

Did you possibly get a SECURITY indication on the info center a day or so before? A similar thing happened to my 2001 SS and I found out that if you turn the key to the "ON" position and let it sit for eleven minutes you can then turn the key "OFF" and then start the car.

 

Swap the DRL relay and IIRC the fuel pump relay. See if the problem changes or just go buy a new relay at the store and try that. I know that when my DRLs went out it wasn't the relay it was the EXT LIGHTS fuse in the box. But I would check the relays too.
