where on a 07 monte are the engine cover...

Default where on a 07 monte are the engine cover...

clips? and how hard is it to take off and put back on. gonna paint it real soon. ty guys!

It lifts off relatively easy. There more like pins (#3) that engage the cover but there's three of them; one by the throttle body and two on the opposite end. Part of the intake manifold body.

so just pull up in a gradual motion? and ty bye the way bud.

Yes, grab the cover at both ends simultaneously and pull straight up. You could also try working the single pin end off, at the throttle body, first then pull up on the other end.

When re installing, make sure the hoses on the rear driver side are above the cover. You'll have to shimmy it under them first before aligning and popping it back down in place.
