I just bought a 2004 supercharged ss. I've been having a problem with it jerking turning corners. It feels like the trans slips a little then grabs when i try to accelerate around the corner. If i just coast around its fine. I don't know if this is normal on these car or not (this is my first supercharger). my 2002 ls model doesn't do it.

 

If you think it is Transmission related, the first thing to do is check the fluid level of the Trans, next check the color of it as well it should be a Red color if it's brown change it and you should see a difference.

 

just a follow up on my question about my 2004 monte carlo. it would jerk going around corners like the trans was slipping then grab.i decided to start with a fluid and filter change to see if that would help. after i got the pan off i discover there is no filter. i'm not sure what the last owner was thinking but i have never heard of someone taking the trans out before. i put a new filter in and fresh fluid and so far so good. no jerking going around corners and it feels like it accelerates better also.
