weird ekectrical issue

Default weird ekectrical issue

OK here goes my 2000 SS has an Intermittent turn signal problem sometimes they work sometimes they dont.
have tried changing bulbs fuses checking for bad grounding only thing i can think of is its in the steering wheel housing.
anybody else have this issue and if so how did you fix it

check the hazard light switch?? i didnt think id need it when i was driving dash less lol and it turns out blinkers dont work without it, yours might be loose, and if you hit a bump it will wiggle, making it work sometimes and not others

It could be a bad signal Flasher ?

The turn signal flasher on a 2000 Monte Carlo is behind the hazard button on the instrument panel. You have to take out the instrument panel bezel to access it. Hope this helps.

I'd say that I am 99.9% sure it is the hazard light button. My father has a 2000 MC SS and he hat the same issue.. He'd wiggle the hazard switch and it'd work again for a bit.. He ended up getting it replaced and it's all better now.
