RE: weird ekectrical issue
check the hazard light switch?? i didnt think id need it when i was driving dash less lol and it turns out blinkers dont work without it, yours might be loose, and if you hit a bump it will wiggle, making it work sometimes and not others

Hi Brian from the SunShine State

Welcome to the Monte Carlo Forum Family.
(we have a lot of members in Florida: )
It could be a bad signal Flasher ?

The turn signal flasher on a 2000 Monte Carlo is behind the hazard button on the instrument panel. You have to take out the instrument panel bezel to access it. Hope this helps.

RE: weird ekectrical issue
I'd say that I am 99.9% sure it is the hazard light button. My father has a 2000 MC SS and he hat the same issue.. He'd wiggle the hazard switch and it'd work again for a bit.. He ended up getting it replaced and it's all better now.
