Default W platform Monte Carlo 6th Gen ?

Hey guys, I found some SEVICE manuals from GM service. They are the GOOD SHOP manuals for the car. it says on the covers they are for a 2000 Monte carlo as well as a 2000 Impala. That being said it ALSO says "W PLATFORM" Im not sure, but is it the 6th gen that is the W platform? I justwant to make sure before I buy them even though they only want $20 for them !... So I want to ****** them boys UP !.. any info would be great... thanks guys...MJC
