Have a 98 Monte. For some reason, I thought the vacuum can was under the air intake box. After crawling around on the ground, cussing the engineers out, low and behold, I found it (I think), behind the drivers side, rear, wheel well. Stuffed up in the fender. At least, I think it's the can. I found a plastic rectangular box. I'm thinking the vacuum can is protected in there. Am I correct? If so, doesn't look like a fun thing to get to. Any hints on ease of access?
