It seems to me a new pump would not go out in such a short period of time. Have you checked the wiring connectors, wiring and fuses? The old pump may have been good with no reason to replace it. Most likely it's a loose/dirty connection in the fuel pump circuit.

Default Really?!?

Okay. So today I pull the pump out of the car and put it in a bucket filled enough to submerge the pump. I use a in line fuse on the positive and direct wire it to the battery. Pump spins but does not pump.
So I switched the positive and negative wires and the pump shoots gas across the driveway.

This is the connector that came with the pump

The connector that came with the pump had all four wires white. And quite possibly the worst directions said connect wires to corresponding wires.
The harness from the car had ABCD marked on it. The connector with four whites was marked ABCD. So I connected A to A, B to B etc. B and C were the power wires to the pump.
So I changed the connections. I put B to C and C to B. Then the car started and ran. I'm glad I got it figured out but I'm really p***ed that the instructions were so vague and I wired it up as stated only for it to be backwards.

Default Easy starts

I have to say with the new injectors and fuel pump the ol Monte starts easier than it has in the 8 months that I have owned it. Thanks to all replies on this post. I tried all the ideas and in doing so got a few ideas of my own ALL of which helped me to sort this out.
