Default Tube/hose/vacuum line missing

Hi,
on the front of the upper intake manifold on the far right side(looking at manifold) there is a vacuum? Tube, well my rubber tube has dry rotton and now its just the small tube sticking out and a code of p0507 came on. Its most likely because that hose/vacuum/line is missing, but i dont know what this hose is called and where to goes to. Any insight is helpful..thanks.

Sounds like its the line going from the throttle body to the brake booster but thats honestly just a guess (cause its towards the right)..

Give us a picture and well be able to tell you for sure. But then again, which engine is it, 34 or 3800? 5.3?

Default Monte

Its a 3.4 engine. I do have a picture i found on ebay someone is selling because its just the upper intake manifold and everything is off it except for that one tube. But looking at it, its from the back side, its the black tube.

I don't have a 3400, but that sure looks like the fuel pressure regulator hose. I'd just pop the line off and take it into a parts store.

The plastic is probably fine if you can find new ends in the 'help' section. Otherwise, the next easiest way is to just get some correct ID rubber hose and run that instead.

Red tape is holding the plastic Vac line on.

Under this cover is most likely the same thing that you have

Red tape is holding the plastic Vac line on. that Vac line causes more missing and rough idles
On the 3400 that I have in the SUV the Vac is on the other side (left side) But the service and parts dept said they can just replace these hoses with off the shelf tubing. Or you may find it at a salvage yard.
