Default Transmission help

Hey guys, my transmission jus went out in my 2000 SS. I was just wondering what transmissions will interchange with it. A guy I know has a Grand Prix transmission for sale that’s round about the same year but I read somewhere that the plugs are different with different number pins. Thanks for any help!

You should be fine if the Grand Prix is a 98-02 and not supercharged.

I read on a thread on Facebook that the grand prix’s and montes from around that year used different wiring harnesses for the transmission, and that it wouldn’t work. Anybody know how true this is or any way to make it work if it is true?

There was a change in 2003, I really don't think it affects any 98-02.
