Traction control light on

Yeah, I know how tight those bolts can be. I replaced the hub on my 01 3/4 suburban. I just figured since the guy was paying for part of it, I'd let the dealership do it. Which I will never do again.

wow, thats expensive, i sell the hubs

w/ abs for 143 cdn +tax
w/o abs for 157 cdn + tax

so i'd say they're rippin you, because its only about a 30 min job

Solar slayer there is a way to deactivate it lol mine has a button that says trac OFF just give it one push and bingo light in the dash comes on that says trac off. lol

I was wondering if there was one of those fancy ways of deactivating the traction control permanently. You know, press the brakes 3 times, switch the lights on and off twice, press the brakes again twice, open the sunroof 4 times, click the left turn twice, then the right once, open & close the trunk 7 times, do a couple of 360's, spit out the right window while making a left turn and voila, no more damn traction control.
Close! you just forgot to stand on left foot in an ice storm in July while making the right turn.
