traction and abs Please help

Default traction and abs Please help

I have put new wheel hub assembly on both front wheels ,and im still get the traction light and my brakes sound and feel like they coming apart ,but thats not all the time and only when the traction light comes on,, i check all the abs connections and they all ok ,, what's bad is i get someone to look at it and it does perfect , hen with me it messes up, can anyone help,,, thanks and its a 2004 monte

The rear hubs can also trigger the abs/traction lights if worn. Your best bet would be to have the PCM scanned for codes. That way you can determine which hub is setting the lights or if it's a wiring problem.

I second what 03SSLE said. Take the guess work out, find out the codes in the ABS computer.

what stinks is it does it and then it's perfect again the light goes off but i will stop in autozone next time it does it,,,Thanks

Autozone most likely doesn't read the ABS codes. They can typically only read what the PCM trouble codes are, and this is stored in a different module.

However the code should be stored even if the light goes out, a mechanic should be able to read it.
