I don't have the gumption to bleed my cooling system in the middle of their lot. Who the hell do I think I am? I'm truly scared. Air trapped in the system has all these dangers and I can't just go out and buy another car. A head gasket is game over for me.

However if they ran the thing and it overheated in there shop and it needs a head gasket that is probably there issue.
I wish you all the best on this. You really need to take along your Big Brother or uncle that looks like Hulk Hogan to get better answers.
