so i work at napa.
i just had a guy come in returning his head gaskets.
he has a 97 firebird with the 3800. the head gasket did not appear to have proper holes for the water jackets....?
this kinda thing happens all the time so i looked up a newer car and a fwd platform and the same number pops up. 9917pt and 9918pt.
there felpro (im not to big a fan of)
any of you guys have experience with this happening?? if so which gasket did you use??
as an owner of an 05 mc ss i want to make sure i get the right things

 

i only use GM gaskets..... yea they cost more but they last and are known to be right.
