Default temperature control module, steering wheel controls, and the homelink are not working

so my 02LS problem is with the temperature control module, steering wheel controls, and the homelink. none of them work. Occasionally I am able to smack the top of the dash until I see light come on on the temperature control then everything starts working again, I have check what I think is the common ground located to the right of steering column (I'm unsure though) and it seams fine, any advice as to what this could be?

side note when I use my blinkers they turn on like hazards but are faded on both sides, could these issues be related?

I have cheeked multiple grounds and fuses along with replacing the head unit, and the hazard switch

any thoughts or advice is greatly appreciated.
