Fireman,
I doubt its your track. You need to reprogram the DIC. To do this you turn your key to "on" without starting it and run the sunroof back and forth about 10 times. This should do it. 04Intimidator had to do this. Check with him by searching members and messaging him.
Yes I did and that is what works. Every so often the problem will creep back in, but that might have something with me disconnecting the battery all the time to do some new mod.
I'm really glad that you saw this because as I was typing this I was only about 40% sure that was the process to follow. That's a whole lot cheaper than replacing a sunroof, switch, track or any other part.

Thanks for your help. The sunroof is working better, but just stops half way once in awhile. It seems like the more I use it, the better it works.

Try to give it a little push as it opens and closes. That helps me everytime I reset it.

Interesting stuff I'll have to remember! I do have a sunroof on my 99 z that works well but does look and sound kind of dry. What is everyone using maintenance wise to lubricate the tracks and other moving parts to keep these things working trouble free?

You should always lubricate moving mechanical parts unless the manual says otherwise. I haven't lubed mine so I don't know what to use. lol.

Ill have to try to fix mine that was cuz mine always does that kinda crap sometimes you need to keep pushin the switch to close it... that sounds easier than takin it to a dealer and having them tell me that theres nothin wrong with it and chargin me 20 bucks to say it
