Red face Stupid Curious Question About Transaxle Leak

If it's the pan gasket, that gets replaced anyway so I'll save both my transmission and stop the leak with this drop and fill.
If it's the "side gasket" it means pulling the axle and all kinds of nightmare complications I could never afford.
That leak is pretty much dead center if the car is level, meaning behind both the radiator and front wheels.
If that's a side gasket I'm screwed and maybe I shouldn't even bother with this drop and fill, just try to sell the car.
I have the cost of a radiator, plugs and wires, RR wheel bearing and assembly into it, dexcool, transmission fluid, oil change, oil (not much have I had to add at all), and the assumption by the place that sold it to me that it is a head gasket.
I know Driver #3 has assured me that it isn't a head gasket or I'd be noticing things like white exhaust, milky oil, overheating, etc...I still see none of those symptoms, I am just nervous I'm sorry.
I had the plugs and wires done elsewhere and that is where the drop nad fill will happen as well, but I have to wonder if it's worth that. I know I'll find out tomorrow, I'm just wondering if anyone else has experience wtih this and/or if it is even a clearly answerable question on my part.

If the shop can't diagnose the fluid leak they shouldn't repair the vehicle. Doing a transmission service is general maintenance and should be done around every few years to extend the life of the transmission.

Honestly, there's no way we can say 100% for certain. Someone needs to get under the car and look.

Side case gasket should favor the drivers side by a good bit. Dripping at the center is likely the pan gasket or possibly the trans cooler lines. But again, its total speculation without actually seeing it
