Stop-and-go shifting issues
I am having problems with a "kick" in the first and second gears after about an hour of driving. This only happens with stop and go traffic, though. If I were to drive 4 hours on the interstate, I have no problems. But, doing city driving can be a real pain with this problem. I have heard this could be due to a bad transmission solenoid. Does anyone have experience solving this problem?

Thanks everyone for your input! I am taking the car by a local transmission shop tomorrow. I'll let you know what I find out. Maybe that will give some insight to others experiencing the same problem as well.
