Default STEERING

I WAS WONDERING IF YOU HAVE TO TAKE YOUR CAR TO THE DEALER TO GREASE THE INTERMEDIATE SHAFT.

MAY GET IT FIXED UNDER WARRANTY AT DEALERSHIP, IF THEY SAY NO ASK FOR # OF SERVICE REP IN YOU AREA, IF NEEDED CALL THEM ,HAVE HAD MINE FIXED FREE SEVERAL TIMES DOING THIS. ANY GOOD SHOP CAN FIX ALSO.

This IIS thing is really getting annoying...


I had mine replaced under warranty and it's starting to do the same thing all over again. I fear GM will have a larger problem than it knows or wants to admit down the road with this issue. From what I have heard this is not a Monte specific problem. My Monte is out of warranty but I think I can make an issue out of it being replaced once before.
