Opinion Needed: Stalling issue turned into car getting worse and now not starting
I posted about 3 weeks ago on here about my car. I don’t know how to copy it or I would. Long story short, I have a 2005 Monte Carlo Tony Stewart with a supercharger. It’s a V6 3.8 engine with 247,000 miles. I noticed about 3 months ago it started stalling at low speeds basically 10 mph, in parking lots, when I would take my foot off the brake. The RPM’s would revv up and down at stop lights and I kept getting horrible gas mileage. Literally 50-70 miles less per tank.
I replaced The MAF, Air Control Valve, Throttle sensor and it did the same thing. About a week and a half ago one night it got to where I couldn’t go past 40, barely made it home. Drove around the block and wouldn’t go past 10 mph. It just wouldn’t let me go any faster. Then it was 5, then it just wouldn’t go, but would still start, but just died. Someone had mentioned the fuel filter, we took the old one off, had to cut it, and basically just run a fuel line without a filter. That didn’t work either. The Fuel Pump is kicking in, but it just won’t turn over now. It cranks, and acts like it wants to start but won’t.
We are replacing the fuel regulator tomorrow on it and see if that will make it run, but I’m not sure. I don’t know what the issue is, this is the only time in my life I have been completely stumped on a car. It’s got a lot of miles and I basically just want to get it started and running to go get a title loan and get into another car. Did a tuneup less than a year ago too, and the plugs are getting a spark. The battery is fine, just charged it today. Anyone know what in the world the issue could be? I’m at a complete loss and so is my uncle who has worked on cars for 40 years.

I might suspect the fuel pump is weak. You'll need to check pressure at the shrader valve on the fuel rail. If I remember it should be around 50 psi. I would definitely check it before wasting money on the pressure regulator , Good luck
No offense, but it sounds like you're just shotgunning parts in the hope that you stumble across the bad part. IMO, that money would've been better spent on a scan tool to let you see what the sensors are actually reading to more accurately identify the issue.
Without some kind of data here, we'd just be speculating at more random parts to throw at it.
