Default Sound system

So my factory stereo and speakers worked fine.
then i replaced my cars battery.
stereo is still fully operational but NO SOUND, not even static buzz or hum.
Im thinking fuse blew???
where wud i find said fuses?

This may sound stupid, but is the stereo off? When I removed my battery and replaced it the clock showed on the screen but no sound, but that's because the stereo shut itself off.
Does your car have the rear deck amp? If so it's easy enough to pop that off and open it up to check it.
