Default silverstar ultra?

Can anyone tell me if there is a noticeable difference in the silverstar ultra versus the regular silverstar headlight bulbs? Besides the $13 in price?

Also, if anyone can give me the paint code for the silver body skirts on the Intimidator SS I'd be eternally grateful.

There wasn't in my Mark VIII, but those had horrible housings to begin with. With ebay hid kits less than $80 why waste the time on halogens? That's the first thing I've done with each of the 4 cars my family owns, ditch the halogens for 4300k for 'pure white' or 6000k for that slight blue tint

SilverStar and SilverStar ULTRA

What if you had more light when you needed it most, like while driving at night?

Brighter light is as easy as upgrading to SilverStar® bulbs . And our newest product, SilverStar ULTRA will offer you the brightest, whitest, 100% legal halogen headlights.

I can vouch for the Silverstars. I have pair on the high beams, and they do allow you to sssseee at night down the road.

I have all 6 lights in front Silverstars, and the headlights the Ultras. Can't say the difference in brightness between the silverstars and the Ultras, but if they say they are brighter, I'm gonna believe them. I know that they are FAR whiter than the stock lights. I just had a fog lamp go out, so I put in a stock 880, and the one is white, the other, well, it is on!

That just summed up any aftermarket bulb that suppose to be brighter.
THEY DON'T LAST worth the added extra cost.
I drive a lot in the dark and I was going through Silver Star bulbs once a year.
The others maybe dim, but as Rockn stated, its on and having lights on is better than not.
I'd be looking at HID conversions for brighter lights well before brighter halogen bulbs if I was to do it again.
Little over $100 for everything up front versus just under for new bulbs once a year.

I agree. If I blow a headlight bulb, it won't get replaced with another Silverstar. HID's are next on the list.
