Should I buy an 06 Monte SS?

I have an 06 Monte with 54K miles. No problems with tranny or oil consumption. Just drove round trip from Miami/Orlando/Miami (650 miles) The only problem was I could only go about 75. To many Fl State Troopers out. 06 Monte performed like a dream.
Have a trust worthy mechanic give it the once over. Should only be about $100 US
