I have had the Service Traction Control and ABS lights come on each morning this week when I start my 02 MC SS. I have tried to drive a few blocks and see if it goes out and it doesn't however if I turn off the car then restart it doesn't come back on.

I've been ignoring it since it seems to only happen after the car sits for at least 12 hours and when it is damp out, and because when I shut it off and restart it doesn't happen again. If there was an actual problem it would come on again would it not? I don't really want to pay $600+ just to have a mechanic replace a sensor if it isn't necessary.
