seat belt conversion
Would like to convert my factory 3 point harness drivers side seat belt to a 4 point harness. Has anyone done that and\or does anyone know of or can recommend a bolt in application to my existing anchors? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Bahdeets/SAM B.

I was thinking about doing the same thing with racing seats and without a roll cage I was thinking about taking out the back seat and extending the harness to where the factory back seatbelts would go. Other then thaT I would assume you would need a roll cage of some sort to do it.

Another question has arisen. I understand that the seat belt is tied into the PCM or BCM and can not be altered without effecting the ABS system. Any advise would be appreciated. Hate to change my seat belt confirguration and have my ABS not work.

Well guys have figured out my problem. Remove the back seat and Corbeau makes a 3 point retractable harness that bolts right into our cars. Perfect solution. I have my back seat out. Carpeted everything - and am using the lower 12mm original bolt for the retractable mechanism. Also the seat belt light can be jumped or bypassed very easily and no light on the dash.
