rochester issues

Default rochester issues
i got a 70 monte with a 350 n a 2bbl rochester carb i jus rebuilt the carb due to all gasjkets shot not the car will start for maybe 2 seconds n shut down i have to repump it full of fuel n it will kep doin this

Sounds as if your float level in the carb isn't set right..take the top of your carb off, and 'gently' move the float, to see if it's binding, or the tangs are bent
