Angry 01 MC SS rubbing/grinding under light braking

2001 Monte SS. 65,XXX, no significant mods.

I started getting a light swooshing/rubbing sound front the front passenger side tire area when I would use the brakes. It didn't happen every time, and some were louder then others. I only heard it at lower speeds (below 20mph) even if I was going 55 and gradually braked, I wouldn't hear it til i hit the 20mph mark. Occasionally when i released the brakes going that slow, the noise would continue. After letting it sit for several hours I got back in and the noise was there, but much quieter. I took off the tire but nothing was stuck in the brake and everything looked normal. After an hour of highway driving (little brake use, no noise when used) I heard it immediately when I got off the highway on side streets, and it was 10x louder then it was before. It was a slightly deeper grinding noise only it sounded now like it was coming from the middle up front rather then the passenger side wheel well. Again, I only hear it when braking, does anybody have any idea? The brakes are new (done a few months ago) and have worked flawlessly up to this point.

Perhaps the beginnings of a hub assembly?

Sounds like a stuck slide pin in the caliper.
