Replacing Reverse Light bulbs

Replacing Reverse Light bulbs
So I'm attempting to remove old bulb and replace it as it recently went out. I'm able to remove the whole tail light mechanism but can't remove the light bulb connector. The other two are simple clips that turn and come straight out. Unfortunately, the reverse light is glue tight. Any ideas on how to remove bulb?

If I'm not mistaken,
You simply push it inwards and twist it out (Counter clockwise) at the same time..
Could be rusted inside the connector... You sometimes end up breaking the bulb.. Then, Just take some needle nose pliers and pick out the base of the bulb from the socket.
After 28 yrs they tend to get a little fussy...lol

If it has not tabs and is just a regular twist lock connector, perhaps a dab of WD-40 where the connector and the housing meets and/or use a pair of pliers to twist it.
I've had some stubborn connectors on newer cars that somehow just "stuck" in the housing and usually the pliers alone did the trick. Don't squeeze hard, just enough to hold the connector and twist.
Be sure what you are working with is a twist lock connector before trying this.

I got it guys, appears it may have been the original bulbs. There was a tone load of gunk build up over the years. It kinda looked like honey. Just pushed it in and turned counter clockwise and it popped rite out. Cleaned the housing and replaced the bulb.
