What is the trick to replacing the PCV valve on a 2005 3.4? It has some kind of metal bracket holding it in, therefore I can not remove it. Looks like my only option is to cut the bracket, but that doesn't sound like how it was to be designed.

You should be able to pull the pcv from the valve cover without messing with the bracket. Although, be sure not to bend the plastic tube that the pcv is connected to.
