Default Replacing front bumper on 05 MC

I thought it looked pretty simple, but after I started it seems I need to remove the side panels, which seem to be connected to the hood. Is this right? How difficult is it?

nope there is a "bolt in each corner to the fender. possibly two one up and one lower toward the headlight. then theres the clips up top and bottom and possibly little bolts down there to. now you have to loosen the bracket thats in there. then it slides forward and off.
