hi, i have a 2006 monte carlo lt, and i was wondering if the bumper grill is the same on the lt as an ss because im looking for a grill insert and it only shows a bottom half for the ss, but it doesn't look like there is any difference, thanks for the help,!!

 

No not the same...the SS has a mesh type grill.

 

i think the part where the grill goes is the same, so it would probably work, it just looks like the bottom clip thats different on it

 

The grills aren't the same!!! The opening is but the actual grills as in the pics you posted are not the same.

 

he's looking for an insert, not the stock grille, i think the insert would work on both

The insert should work in an LS, LT, or LTZ. Same opening.

And Impalas got the same grille the SS Monte did.
