Rear View Mirror double image

Ok, it is the fluid inside that is screwed up. That's the "bubble" that you see. It's common on our version, they changed the mirror when they added on-star.

That plastic clip hides the wires, you just need to remove that first, it's a little difficult, but you shouldn't break anything. Usually you can just bend it and pop it out.

Then unclip the wire from behind the mirror, using the tab at the top. Then just lift the mirror up and it will come right off.

Sorry about not updating sooner. Been busy, had to replace the starter and the neutral safety switch. I'll replace it soon as I get some time.

Kilroy, I had the same issue with my 04 SS got replaced 2x like chibi said the mirrors go bad and the sun takes a toll on the plug behind it There a pain in the *** to find too my solution was to go to a local boneyard and pull off a day/night and slap that on.cost $10.00bucks problem solved!Btw the plug is $50.00 if u go to a dealer $90 that's why I said F that. good luck my mirror work fine now!
