auto dimming rear view mirror wont work
I took my 00 Monte into the dealership to have them fix my blower motor resistor and when I picked it up the auto dimming rear view mirror light will not turn on. I am wondering if there is a fuse for this or if you have any other ideas that I can check to get it working again.
Oh yeah, both lights on the mirror work just fine. I dont know if that matters or not.

Make sure the button is turned on in the center... And then play with the wire a little bit. See if the light pops on. Mine got messed up from heat and stuff and now I have to fiddle with the wire sometimes for the mirror to work right.

I tried pushing in that button 10 times on the way to work this morning when someone was riding my *** and blinding me. I also tried moving that wire that runs up the windshield a little to to see if I could get it to come on but no luck.

Yeah sometimes I have to like... squeeze the wire, and move all the wires inside it some to get mine to pop on. It's a pain, but I'm too lazy to cut it off and piggy-back in a new wire.
Other than the mirror itself being bad, I'm not sure. Because obviously the mirror is getting power

Glad it worked for you
Unfortunately unless you actually cut it and put in new wires you may have to keep playing with those. Luckily mine has stayed on for a good month, but my map lights now won't work unless I touch the wires. It's a pain, but it's better than paying for something else right now!! aha
